Patient Information
Surgeon: Dr. Jack P. Gunter
History:
During childhood, the patient had multiple trauma to her nose, but had no previous surgery. She was concerned about the hump on her nose and the width and flatness of the tip.
Front view:
This view shows that a rib cartilage was used to project her nasal bridge and tip forward. This widened the bridge slightly and narrowed the tip to greatly improve the bridge/tip harmony/relationship.
Side view:
This view reveals the hump was removed and rib cartilage grafts were used to increase the projections of both her bridge and tip.
Angle view:
This view shows a straight bridge with good tip projection.
Basal view:
This view demonstrates the increase tip projection achieved and the amount of narrowing of the nostrils.
