History: In addition to the obvious cosmetic deformity in which there was very little bone or cartilage left in the nose, this lady complained of severe breathing difficulties due to the collapse of the nostrils when taking a deep breath.

Front View: Using rib cartilage grafts, the bridge was widened and made more normal-appearing. The tip and nostrils were widened to try to improve the breathing and the irregularities.

Side View: This view shows augmentation of the nasal bridge with increased projection of the nasal tip using rib cartilage grafts.

Angle View: The collapsed look has been corrected with a smoother contour of the entire nose. She also has a larger nose which better fits her face.
