Patient Details

Surgeon: Dr. Jack P. Gunter

History: This young lady had a rhinoplasty 2 years previously and was having breathing difficulties. She felt her nose was over rotated, too short, had a lack of projection and was too small for her face. Rib cartilage grafts were used for her reconstruction.

Front View: The upper part of her bridge appears wider and the bridge flows into the tip making it look wider as well. The tip has been rotated downward so there is less nostril show.

Side View: The bridge is straighter with less rounding of the tip. The nose has been rotated downward resulting in less nostril show and more tip projection.

Angle View: This view shows a stronger, more natural looking nose.

Basal View: This “Pinching” of the nostril rims has been corrected and the nostrils widened for better breathing.
